Aisling Bea
Aisling is an Irish-born comedian who has been around for some time. She was born in Kildare, Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. The comedian appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea is an Irish actress writer and comedian. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011after having appeared in small parts on several Irish TV shows as well as British series since 2009. As early as 2012 she was on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. In 2012, following her won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured often in various panel programs. In 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, and also a part-time participant on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. The parents of her are Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. In 2012 she was the first woman ever to receive the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea is her name to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh is a Kildare woman who was born in Kildare. She was born in March 16, 1984. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how her father died until after she turned thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea in honor of her late father. Bea also wrote an article for The Guardian on her family's suicide experience. Bea, along with her younger sister Sinead and her sister Sinead, were brought up in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney), a former jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Their parents were both obsessed with horses and racing. As a young girl, Bea worked as an assistant tour guide in the Irish National Stud however she realized at an early stage that she was not attracted to the race industry for a profession, but instead enjoyed performing.
